Scouting is an Organization with a Mission

At Scouting, children and young people engage in activities that are fun, challenging, and foster collaboration. Every week, they explore creative themes tailored to their age group. Play is essential for healthy development. We give children the space to move physically, experiment socially, and grow. A space to discover and learn.

Scouting Offers Youth Fun, Challenge, and Structure

Children participate in activities full of joy, challenge, and teamwork. Teachers, school counselors, and family doctors often recommend Scouting for children. Fun goes hand in hand with structure and respect. Scouting maintains contact with mental health and family support organizations to provide proper guidance for children with specific needs. Scouting also serves as a practical training environment for vocational students in social and cultural work.

Scouting Encourages Social Engagement in Youth

Most of our volunteers are under 25. At Scouting, they naturally learn to take responsibility. They initiate their own programs, organize large events, manage budgets, and develop teamwork skills—enhancing their future job prospects. Research shows that many scouts remain socially engaged later in life.

Scouting Teaches Respect, Independence, and Teamwork

Scouting gives children room to grow socially and physically, helping them feel confident and comfortable. Our groups are diverse, including various cultures, religions, and children who may need a bit more support. In essence, we reflect society. Through shared play, children learn to respect one another. Scout leaders play a key role, encouraging increasing independence with decreasing supervision.

Scouting is Preventive

Scouting provides structure, caring leaders, and an outlet for energy. It gives children the chance to be wild—in a safe, organized way. We call it “organized mischief.” They are challenged while also learning essential values, including mutual respect. This approach resonates with children and teens.
