Cow trade
The cubs of the MH also had a friendsday today. We played a big game in the forest. The cubs had to buy and sell cows. But the if the cubs were tagged, their cow would become sick. A sick cow could not be sold. Therefore, the cubs first had the heal their cows at the doctor. The healed cows could be sold again. Every cub even sold more than 5 cows. After this game, we roasted bread above a fire. It was very delicious!
Friendday Cubs
What’s better than scouting? Scouting with friends! During our last meeting, the Cubs invited their friends to come and see what we’re all about.
We kicked off the day with an exciting forest game, filled with running. To top it all off, we gathered around the campfire to bake bread over the flames. It was a fantastic day with lots of new faces!
Investiture Cubs!
Last week was a special moment for the Cubs: the of our newest members! After making their promise, they are now officially part of the pack. And of course, an official tradition calls for a celebration!
As always, we celebrated the arrival of our brand-new Cubs in a very special way: eating a waffle without using their hands! It resulted in plenty of laughter and some very messy faces. Welcome to the group, superstars!
Summer Camp Cubs 2025
In the first week of the summer vacation, our cubs experienced an unforgettable summer camp, filled with adventure and a wealth of wildlife! It was a week where nature came to life, and the cubs immersed themselves in the fascinating world of animals.
They discovered how different animals bravely withstand the scorching heat, skillfully maneuver through the water, and even conquer the skies with their impressive flying abilities.
To ensure that all those fun facts about the animals were not forgotten, the cubs enthusiastically earned, collected, and traded animal cards. It was a true celebration of exchanging and sharing, where everyone could showcase their favorite animals!
One of the highlights of the camp was the trip to Irrland, where some cubs had the chance to admire the largest donkey in Europe!
Welcoming Our New Cubs!
This Saturday was a special one — it was time to officially welcome our new members!
We held a small but meaningful ceremony to mark the occasion, followed by a cozy moment together enjoying some delicious cake. Because a milestone like this absolutely deserves to be celebrated! 🎉🍰
A Morning Full of Goats and Giggles!
This week, we visited a local goat farm — and what a fantastic morning it was!
We learned all sorts of fun facts about goats, and best of all… we got to cuddle them! The goats were friendly, curious, and absolutely adorable. It was a wonderful experience full of smiles, laughter, and lots of soft fur.
A perfect way to start the day!

Jungle Camp Adventure!
Just like every year, we took our oldest Cubs on an unforgettable Jungle Camp – an extra challenging and exciting experience!
The Cubs spent the night in tents, hiked a long trail through nature, and ended the day by roasting their very own chicken over an open fire. Talk about real outdoor skills!
By the end of this amazing camp, every participant had truly earned their Jungle Camp badge – and they wore it with pride!
Hunted with the MH
This past Saturday, not even the rain could stop us – we played an exciting game of Hunted in the Karpen neighborhood!
The group split into two teams: one team went into hiding while the other set out to track them down. Using walkie-talkies, the teams communicated back and forth, with the hidden team dropping clever hints about their location.
After all the sneaking, searching, and strategy, we wrapped up the day back at the scout hut with a warm cup of tea – the perfect way to recharge and dry off after an action-packed afternoon!
